The first-ever Community Shred Event hosted by the Auxiliary was a great success! We were visited by some 65 community members who dropped off over 260 boxes of paperwork to be destroyed. The on-site shredding services were provided by Santa Maria-based Shred 2 You who comped their fees for this inaugural event. Participants were encouraged to donate $5 per banker's box of paperwork with several donating well above that suggested amount. The Auxiliary received over $1,900 in donations! A date for 2022 is in the works and will be announced shortly.
